The body of a man tied to a sack full of bricks and stones, weighing around 45kg, was found floating in Balu river last evening. The identity of the deceased, aged around 35, could not be known. Police primarily suspected that miscreants killed the man and tied the body to a sack full of bricks and stones before throwing it into water. Sub-inspector Asaduzzaman, in-charge of Demra Rajakhali River Police Outpost, said being informed by locals, they recovered the floating body from the river near Khilgaon area last evening and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. A plastic bag with brick and stones was tied with the body, he said. On November 7, the body of Buet student Fardin Noor Parash was recovered from Shitalakkhya river in Narayanganj while Awami League leader Duronto Biplob was found floating in Buriganga on November 12.
